Company Owner

Steve loves landscaping. He’ll work all day on a client’s job then come home to enjoy his own gardens after a hard day. He started caring for landscapes at the young age of 7 on a Snapper, 32-inch riding lawn mower (the same one as seen in the Forrest Gump movie!) creating a golf course on 4 acres of grass.

Many years later now in his late 50’s, Steve in the past has co-owned a large landscape company in Kelowna with his wife Jill for 21 years.

Steve has owned property in Nakusp, a glamping site on a mountain for 20 years but has now moved into the village full-time in the winter of 2020. He has now created a new local company called “Stevescapes”, focusing on landscape consulting, renovation, and maintenance.

Steve wants to create beautiful, sustainable landscapes that will thrive in the local environment for years to come with minimal maintenance.
