Steve’s passion for landscaping started at age 7 on a 32-inch Snapper riding mower—just like the one in Forrest Gump! He spent hours turning four acres of grass into his own golf course. Even now, after a full day working on clients’ landscapes, he unwinds by tending to his own garden.

For over 20 years, Steve balanced city life with his love for the Arrow Lakes countryside, where he owned a glamping site and found refuge in nature. During that time, he also co-owned a successful landscape company in Kelowna with his wife, Jill, for 21 years. In the winter of 2020, he made Nakusp his permanent home, fully embracing village life as a proud member of the community.

Steve brings decades of expertise to landscape consulting, renovation, and maintenance. He specializes in creating beautiful, sustainable landscapes that flourish with minimal upkeep—designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
